Over a pot of boiling water she let the colander rest on top of the pot, poured the batter in then used a spatula to coax it through. They floated to the top of the water when done, she did just as you did with the butter and herbs in the skillet. Cooking for Real used to live in Germany on military bases while her Dad was stationed there. Today is the first time I noticed this reply box, ADD for sure - I miss 1/2 of everything!
